The Story Of Us

This is Anna (on the left) and Clara (on the right) almost more than a year ago.  My husband and I waited 6 long years for them.  He and I got together as a pseudo Valentine's Day date, had a great time and then he left for Europe for 9 weeks for an abroad choir experience for Carroll College. When he came back, it was a great day.  April 14th, 2001 to be exact and at the Delta Rho Upsilon Spring Fling party we decided it was a good idea to "go out".  4 years later we got married and I've never wanted to look back. 

Life is crazy. Anna & Clara are healthy 15 month twin girls. They happen to be nothing alike with the exception that they are sweethearts.  Clara is jumping at any chance to climb and run around,  Anna is observant and meticlous with her decisions. Clara will end up jumping in mud puddles in her dress and Anna will dance in the rain.  I can see it.

We had therapy for Anna today.  She is a lazy bum for her motor skills. Today she used the baby walker and rocked it. Practically running around the building once she got the idea.  Clara gave her a hefty push. 

I love what God has given to us, no matter how challenging it may seem at the time.  And sometimes it can seem pretty challenging.  And that is the very short version of the story of us.
